People throughout the UK have been getting into the coronation spirit by doing things like creating a Coronation Quiche and decorating with Union Flag bunting.
Relatedly, a new service from Uber enables you to take part in the pomp and circumstance surrounding this significant royal occasion.
The “Coronation Carriage,” which offers carriage rides drawn by horses, will be running in London’s Dulwich Park. The carriage was designed with inspiration from past royal carriages.
The four white horses pulling it will be decked out in their finest coronation attire.
Passengers will be seated inside the carriage on soft seats with embroidered blankets and cushions.
“What better way to celebrate one of the most important events of 2023 by riding like King Charles III in a horse-drawn carriage,” remarked Andrew Brem, general manager of Uber UK.
‘We’re always looking for new ways to add a little Uber magic to peoples journeys, so we are over the moon to be able to bring the Coronation Carriage to Uber.’
Slots can be reserved for the carriage via the Uber app.
With each journey taken, Uber will make a donation to Spana, a UK organization that promotes the welfare of working animals.
